<h4>About Us</h4><p>Our loudspeaker systems are used worldwide for live events, installations, and professional sound reinforcement projects. To help our customers easily plan, configure, and control complex systems, we develop our own software tools—and that’s where you come in. Harmonic Design develops and manufactures professional loudspeaker systems designed to meet the highest standards of sound quality, performance, and reliability. As a working student, you will support our development team in creating software solutions that are directly integrated with our products and used in everyday professional audio applications.</p><h4>Your role</h4><p>You will support our team in developing software for professional loudspeaker systems—from 3D simulation and planning to device management and the control of real embedded hardware on a network. Depending on your prior experience and interests, you will focus more on our application software using modern web and desktop technologies or on hardware-related interfaces. In this role, you will gradually take on responsibility for individual modules, test your solutions, and contribute your own ideas for continuous product improvement.</p><h4>Possible technical areas of focus</h4><p>Together with you, we’ll determine which specialization best suits your degree program, your knowledge, and your interests.</p><ul><li><strong>Application Software / System Software</strong><ul><li>Development of modern UI and workflow features using React and TypeScript.</li><li>Contribution to a desktop application based on Electron and/or Flutter Desktop/Mobile.</li><li>Collaboration on the integrated local backend using Fastify, REST, middleware, and WebSocket communication.</li><li>Integration of the user interface with structured API layers and data models.</li><li>Storage and management of user configurations and device settings.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Embedded Connectivity / Device Communication</strong><ul><li>Collaborate on low-level interfaces for embedded systems in a network.</li><li>Development of modules for device communication, configuration management, and control interfaces.</li><li>Working with ESP-IDF, C++, and C coding patterns when dealing with hardware-software interfaces.</li><li>Implementation of network communication, discovery mechanisms, and stable device connectivity.</li><li>Assistance with testing real hardware components and their integration into the system software.</li></ul></li></ul><h4>Your responsibilities</h4><ul><li>Contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of software tools in the sound reinforcement field.</li><li>Supporting product development in close collaboration with the acoustics development, hardware development, and product management teams.</li><li>Maintenance and further development of existing simulation, planning, and control software for loudspeaker systems.</li><li>Implementation, testing, and documentation of individual software modules.</li><li>Co...
